I hung the mirror in my exercise room to bring in a little more light from the sliding glass door across form it. I have artwork hanging in this room as well. The artwork's frames and the mirror's frame compliment each other. The color of gold on the frame is the traditional gold color, and therefore, it is more orange than a more metallic gold would be. The only problem I had was the way it came pre-wired for hanging. The wires were way too tight and because of that, they were positioned in such a way to make it hard to hang and keep level on the wall. Fortunately, I had picture hanging wire and I wired it with more slack. It does come with nice hooks for the wire and I used both hooks to hang it. The glass comes with a slight film residue on it. If you're unable to clean the glass without streaks and/or other smears, wash the glass with a little dish washing liquid on a clean, semi-damp cloth. then rinse with a clean, semi-damp cloth and quickly dry with a clean, soft towel.

Gorgeous mirror and securely packed so it arrived in flawless conditions. Really dressed up my guest room. I hung it vertically over a dresser. Very nice quality mirror with no distortion. The frame is bright gold leaf that has a slight orange cast to it. The indentations are a light gray green. It looks wonderful with my brass lamp bases. It comes ready to hang with wire strung for both vertical and horizontal hanging. Mine even included a complimentary picture hook which I used. I made sure to find a stud in the wall to drive the nail into.
