I have gone through enough toddler shoes from Amazon and found all shoes with laces or with one strap, are just impossible to put on squirming toddler. As much as I love Stride Rite, the Tyson albeit being very stylish, is too difficult to get those tiny feet in without a shoehorn, and that's just too much work. I'd only go with 2 strap Velcro shoes with soft sole.

my son is currently in a tight 10 so he's ready for the next size. his foot is a little wide but not out of the ordinary wide. to be on the safe side though, i purchased these in a 10.5 W and there is no way they are made for a regular kid's foot; very narrow. after much struggle and determination i got them on...really cute, but i can't go through this struggle every day. beware, they are narrow and run a little small. returning today.

I think the shoe is very cute when I saw it on line. I read the reviews and and many complained that they were narrow and that I needed to purchase a least one size up. THIS IS FALSE!!! Buy the correct size and if you little happens to have wide feet than just purchase the wide wide. The most I would do is .5 higher for thick socks and that's it. Sometimes I wonder if the reviews I read are real. You can bet this one is!

These are the CUTEST shoes for a little dude. However, they are tight across the top and don't stretch much. Our little guy's feet are a tight fit and he can't get them on by himself. Get them wide if your kid's foot runs on the broad end of the spectrum.
