My kid outgrew his toddler seat and I got this to replace it. So far it's great! First of all, it DOES NOT come with the latches to clip to your car. I drive an older car without those attachments, so I don't need them. The seat is held in place with the seat belt, so that needs to be buckled even when your child is not in it, otherwise it's going to fly around inside the car. The point of this seat is to put small children at a point where the seat belt will hold them in place. If your seat belts work, this thing isn't going to move around when buckled in. When your kid is bigger, the back can be removed to make this a normal booster seat. It's easy to assemble. Has cup holders on each side which slide in and out, but they're a bit shallow and tall drinks might tip over. This needs to be used in a seat with a shoulder belt, and there are guides on each side, depending on what side you set this up on. My son finds this to be very comfortable and I think this was a good find. Graco makes quality children's products.

Liked this so much that we bought another one for Mom's car.

This is a great product for the money. HIs previous car seat was also a Graco which was very highly rated and very expensive and very difficult to use. This design however is super simple to use, very quick to put in and take out of car, light weight and practical. it adjusts well and is seemingly as good as the very expensive predecessor. In fact I prefer it quite a bit. To be clear, it is not a full car seat. It is a booster with an add-on back section. But the design is great and for the price an excellent product.
